‘For Everything Under The Sun’ Out Today!

Alex Lipinski New Album

My new record ‘For Everything Under The Sun’ is out today and it gives me great pleasure to finally be able to share it with you all.

Two years in the making, and it began with acoustic demos. I was waking up in the middle of the night to record a melody or chord progression into my phone for fear of missing out on a potential gift passing into my psyche, from whichever mysterious place in the universe these things originate.

Honing those ideas and then creating music in a room with like-minded people who share the same passions.

It ended with a collection of songs and recordings I feel are my strongest yet.

Over the coming days and weeks I may decide to share some memories of making this record. Not to bore you to tears about which EQ was used or what type of guitar strings I used (although some would find it interesting and you know who you are). But to simply share the joy we had creating it.

Something Jeff Tweedy said which really resonated – “each song and each act of creativity is an act of defiance in a world that often feels determined to destroy itself. We have a choice – to be on the side of creation, or surrender to the powers that destroy”.

To create something that until that very moment didn’t exist.

Music. Art. Creativity. Family. Community.

Because that’s why we’re all here right??!

For Everything Under The Sun.

A collection of memories, ideas, dreams and visions.

Thank you in advance, for you continued support. For every vinyl, CD, download, ticket and t-shirt bought is a step towards the next album/tour/chapter.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed making it.

And so it begins.

Hear it creeping through the grapevine…

New Single ‘Coyote’ out today

Where else but the spiritual home of Bruce Springsteen, to drop a live set, on the very day we launch my new album, a collection of toe tappers entitled: ‘For Everything Under The Sun’.
So: I’ll be setting up at Cheltenham’s iconic indie record store, Badlands Records, this Friday at 3pm, to deliver a raw, stripped-back, 45 minutes performance. And I sincerely hope that, school day, or not, you will come along and join me.
Starting to get busy, now:
Today we’re releasing the third single ‘Coyote’ into the wild; a song I wrote in the blurred and bloodied aftermath of a night in LA with Oasis legend, Bonehead (get well soon, my friend).
Badlands, as previously mentioned, Friday: then a free homecoming gig at Weston Super Mare’s Loves on May 12th (because ‘we dance with them that brung us’) before I head across to Berlin and take the stage at Passionskirche, in support of Marc Almond.
Got live, if you want it…
Coyote is out now on all major digital platforms.
Friday 6th May – Badlands- Cheltenham
Thursday 12th May – Loves – Weston-Super-Mare
Monday 16th May – Passionskirche – Berlin (w/ Marc Almond)
Tuesday 17th May – Passionskirche – Berlin (w/ Marc Almond)
